Ages 9-14, In our Bloor West Village Studio:
Tuesdays, 5.30pm – 7.00pm
Semester 1 (15 weeks) begins late September
Semester 2 (15 weeks) begins late January
Join our acting ensemble and build your skills as a performer while having FUN! Weekly drama after-school classes include workshops in improvisation, character creation, scene study, voice, movement, physical theatre and stage presence. Learn how to collaborate with other performers and discover why imagination and spontaneity are the keys to success as an actor.
In Semester 1, we explore ways to create dynamic and exciting characters, tackling monologues, rehearsing scenes and prepping audition pieces. You’ll present some of your work before an invited audience at the end of the semester.

Discover the art of film-making – and act in front of the camera, too, if you wish! Learn – or review – the basics of film making: storyboarding, directing, camera operation, audio, lighting and production design. Each hands-on film course begins with a sequence of short film projects; by rising to challenges set by the instructor and critiquing the results, students further the skills they need to create their own short film. Young writers explore plot, character, setting, structure and editing as they build community, discover their writer’s voice and experiment with form and style. Projects are varied and include poetry, playwriting, screenwriting, fantasy world-building, genre fiction, novel structure, flash fiction, graphic novel writing and more.
